Almost 16 Months!!!
A lot has happened since the last post and Deeson is growing faster than we could imagine!!! The family is great and we are getting ready for Christmas and the New Year.
Here are some highlights of the past months with the Patterson Family:
Winter 2007 ended on a great note and we all went to the top of Crystal Mountain for the Easter Sunrise Service. A pre-dawn chairlift ride takes you to the top of the mountain where folks
gather for coffee and cocoa in preparation of the sunrise. The Crystal Mountain Chaplin hosts the service and provides an inspiriational and spiritual experience.
After a few more pictures we headed down to the Alpine Inn to meet the Easter Bunny, the Easter Egg Hunt and a gourmet Easter Brunch from the Alpine Inn Restaurant.
To celebrate the end of a great winter season, we took Deeson snowboarding for the first time on closing day of Crystal Mountain.
April 15, 2007. We loaded Deeson up in the backpack and took several runs from the top of Crystal Mountain. He was smiling and laughing the whole time down.
By the time we were on our last run, our little man was asleep in the backpack!! Worn Out.
Spring took us all on a trip to South Carolina to see the great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A few days on Pawleys Island with the "homies" and Isle of Palms with the family allowed us to experience beach vacation, "Carolina Style"
Too bad we traveled during the wrong time of year so we could not make any Gamecock Football games.
Summer in Greenwater was awesome and we took weekly trips to Crystal Mountain, several trips to Mt. Rainier and other excursions including Deesons first Huckleberry Picking Trip.

Deesons first birthday party was held at the Alpine Inn and was great fun. Fresh picked Huckleberries decorated the cake and he picked each one off and ate them one at a time.
In the fall we took a trip to visit other family including Grammy, Grampie, uncle Courtney, Uncle Hunter, aunt Debbie and other friends. We took a trip to the Doerrs vacation home at Dale Hollow Lake and enjoyed a few days at this great spot.
Thanksgiving back home was a little quiet in awaiting the winter snows. A slow start to the ski season brought us a huge mid December dump and things picked up immediately. Deeson played in the snow for the first time all decked out in his Outside Baby snow gear. He was very happy rolling around in the snow and playing with his "snow skate". Before you know it, he will be shredding the mountains.
Thanks for visiting, we will try to keep up a little more with developments.
